What’s in My Bag?

Smaller camera bags were seen on the S/S 16 runways a lot last year. Storing all your daily essentials, these bags are structured an easy to wear. The trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere following the popularity of Mansur’s Gavriel’s sold-out-everywhere bucket bag. For girls on the go, the handbag style provides form and function. The mini bag madness took over for Spring 2016 as the trend was seen in the collections of Chanel and Gucci in either classic black or brighter floral prints. The mini bag is a trend applicable to all styles for all fashion girls.

As a crossbody girl, I’ve learned how to easily consolidate my daily carry all into an approximately 7” x 9” x 3” handbag.

First off, my car keys and house keys with the gym membership card attached that I haven’t belonged to for months now.

My Louis Vuitton key pouch in Damier Azur Canvas to hold my credit card, debit card, Lord & Taylor card, etc. and some spare cash without the inconvenience of a big chunky wallet

A Kind bar and Special K bar because I panic when I don’t have food on me

A pack of Trident whitening gum for after my snack

A small bottle of Tylenol and some feminine products because you never know when Aunt Flow is going to crash the party

A to-go packet of Kleenex tissues

Some Wet Ones or hand sanitizer – I’m quite the germaphobe so I keep both on me.

Softlips chapstick because nothing makes me crankier than having dry lips – I also love Blistex Silk and Shine and Blistex Soft and Lush

A mini eyeglasses kit because my sunglasses seem to always get loose and fall apart – thanks Marc Jacobs

And last but not least, a mini bottle of mace because my boyfriend wanted to know I was safe while I was living in Manhattan
