Is Triangl worth the splurge?

It’s no secret that the Aussie girls’ trends always make it over to the States, and Triangl bikinis were one of the most popular as fashion girls are still obsessed with them today.

The swimwear line was started by a newly engaged couple – Erin Deering and Craig Ellis – in December of 2012 after their second date at the beach when Deering couldn’t find a bikini to wear. She was looking for fashionable and quality swimwear without overspending.

The Australian swimwear line caters to those seeking effortlessly cool swimwear that suits summer, sunshine, and the beach. It’s practical and fashionable as it can be worn all day long at the beach; to swim in, sunbath in, run around, etc.

“Simple, classic and cool,” said Deering. “We are influenced by anything that falls into those three categories.”

Triangl swimwear is unique for several reasons, but the comfort and fit are two of its main selling points – thanks to the use of neoprene in all of their pieces. “It’s an exciting fabric to work,” said Deering, “as it allows for the bikinis to hold their shape and look really structured and modern.”

By the way, the neoprene is responsible for giving us the perfect shape by smoothing out any little bumps 😉

The couple is influenced by the endless summer mindset which has encouraged them to design so many colors and shapes. The bikini tops and bottoms can all be mixed and matched to create a new look every time. The quality of the swimwear is definitely worth the price for those of us in the United States who pay about $100 per Triangl bikini set (including international shipping).

Two summers ago, the swimwear originally featured the classic Triangl bikini which became a staple in every American girl’s closet.

However, the brand eventually added more colorful designs that featured color blocked styles and stitching details.
