Morning Skin Care Routine: Clinique

The Clinique brand only offers allergy-tested, 100% fragrance free products specializing in anti-aging, dark-spot correcting, complexion brightening, etc. through its gentle skin care and flawless makeup products.

Step 1: I’ve been using Clinique’s liquid facial soap for combination oily or oily skin for months. The pump is so convenient and there are other formulas for different skin types: very dry to dry skin & dry combination skin.

The product protects skin’s natural moisture balance so there’s no taut or dry feeling.

Step 2: After rinsing my face with warm water and patting it dry, I reach for cotton ball and apply Clinique’s clarifying lotion. Avoiding eye and lip area, I sweep the cotton ball  gently over my face and neck to remove excess dirt & makeup. It surprises me everytime how much pollution can remain deep in your pours without proper facial cleansers. It is also available in different formulas for different skin types: clarifying lotion 1 for very dry to dry skin, clarifying lotion 2 for dry combination skin & clarifying lotion 3 for combination oily skin.

The clarifying lotion leaves skin looking and feeling cleaner and more refined.

Step 3: After throwing away my dirty cotton balls, I apply Clinique’s Even Better Clinical™ Dark Spot Corrector for all skintypes. Using the convenient pump, I spread the serum all over my face.

It’s gentle enough for year-round use and works on past acne marks, too.

Step 4: Once I’ve applied the dark-spot corrector serum, I reach for my Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing Gel, which also comes in a convenient pump, and apply to my face and throat, all over, or where needed.

The daily moisturizer caters to skintypes 3 and 4, but is also available as a lotion for skintypes 1 and 2. This product is a top seller, as it helps skin look younger, longer.

Step 5: Without Clinique’s All About Eyes™, my bags under my eyes would not be easy to hide. It makes my eyes feel more awoken in the morning, making it much easier to wake up and start my day.

With my ring finger, I apply sparingly around the eye area using a gentle patting motion.
